A Memorandum of Understanding between Damascus University and Yugra State University in the Russian Federation

With the aim of enhancing and developing scientific, academic, and research cooperation, and encouraging student and academic exchange, Damascus University and Yugraa State University in the Russian Federation have signed a memorandum of understanding and joint scientific collaboration.

Areas of cooperation include the exchange of faculty members, researchers, and students in the fields of teaching, research, and program development. Cooperation will also involve organizing joint research and educational programs, developing collaboration projects, publishing joint scientific research in local and international journals, joint supervision of master's and doctoral theses, and exchanging publications, educational resources, and research information between the two parties.

The parties have agreed to sign executive programs to determine the mechanisms and details for implementing the memorandum, while providing support to participants in the action programs and equipping them with the necessary information and facilities for collaboration.

This memorandum will remain in effect for a period of five years and will be automatically renewed for a similar period.
